Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world and a popular destination for adults, but you might not think of it as a family-friendly destination.
However, with excellent family-friendly hotels, epic pool complexes, and attractions like the Bellagio Fountains, Botanical Gardens, and Lions Habitat Ranch, I think it’s a great place for a family vacation.
I’ve picked out the best hotels for families in Las Vegas ranging from affordable to sheer luxury. They all have spacious air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi, great pools, delicious kid-friendly food options, and plenty to keep the little ones entertained. There’s one hotel that looks like a fairytale castle and even one with an indoor rollercoaster!
I’ve also highlighted family-friendly features like interconnecting rooms, blackout shades, and babysitting services for an evening out without the kids.
So, if you’re planning a family visit to Las Vegas, here are 12 family-friendly hotels that both kids and parents will love.
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas occupies five of the Mandalay Bay hotel’s upper floors. This non-smoking and non-gaming luxury hotel is located at the south end of the Strip, meaning it’s just a 10-minute drive from McCarran International Airport. However, you’ll need to drive at least 10 minutes more to visit attractions like the Bellagio Fountains or Neon Museum.
The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, from the marble lobby to the spacious and elegant rooms and suites, accommodating up to four people. Cribs, rollaway beds, and interconnecting rooms are available on request.
The Family for All Seasons program makes this one of the best kid-friendly hotels in Las Vegas. The hotel provides young guests with their own welcome amenities and complimentary use of games and books. Other family-friendly amenities include baby bathtubs, highchairs, complimentary diapers, and children’s toiletries. The hotel also provides an in-house babysitting service.
Guests staying at the Four Seasons benefit from its award-winning spa, fine dining restaurant, and pool area with luxury cabanas. However, you can also access the wider range of facilities and entertainment at the Mandalay Bay resort which is a big bonus.
We stayed in a large suite at the Four Seasons in 2024. You can find out what I thought of it in my full Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas review.
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino

Apart from the five floors occupied by the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, the rest of Mandalay Bay’s 43-storey tower is taken up by the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
The elegantly decorated rooms in this 5-star hotel offer city or mountain views. They have all the luxury amenities you’d expect and are spacious enough for family vacations, sleeping up to six guests. There’s no option to request cribs or additional beds, but interconnecting hotel rooms are available.
The massive 11-acre outdoor pool complex at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is one of the best pool areas in Las Vegas. It includes three pools, a wave pool, a sandy beach, and a lazy river ride. Luxury cabanas are also available to rent, although I think the cabanas at the smaller Four Seasons pool are nicer.
You can also choose from 20 restaurants, including the award-winning Strip Steak Steakhouse, the pan-Asian Noodle Shop, and an authentic Irish pub experience at Rí Rá. Children’s menu options are available at several of the eateries.
The Mandalay Bay is at the far end of the south Las Vegas strip, so it’s quieter than many Las Vegas hotels and you will have to travel at least 10 minutes to the city’s attractions. The great thing is that the resort has plenty of entertainment onsite, including the Shark Reef Aquarium, shows from Cirque du Soleil, and live music from world-class performers.
There’s no in-house babysitting service, but the Concierge can help with booking a local child care service.
Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is one of the best luxury hotels in Las Vegas for couples or business travelers. It’s also smoke-free, non-gaming, and has a central location on the Las Vegas Strip, making it an excellent family-friendly hotel.
The hotel has recently completed a major renovation of the marble lobby and all 392 spacious rooms and huge suites. These have sophisticated decor, excellent amenities, stunning city views, and plenty of space for the whole family. Cribs and extra beds are available for an additional fee.
The swimming pool area at the Waldorf Astoria is fairly small but has luxury cabanas available to rent. You’re also in close proximity to many family-friendly attractions like the Bellagio Fountains, events at the T-Mobile Arena, and luxury shopping at The Shops at Crystals.
There’s a limited choice of restaurants onsite, including the Asian-influenced Zen Kitchen and a cocktail lounge. The convenient location gives you easy access to many of the best places to eat in Las Vegas.
When we visited the Waldorf Astoria in 2024, we were impressed by the excellent service. The hotel offers a range of baby amenities and strollers on request, as well as babysitting services.

Wynn Las Vegas is another excellent choice for a luxurious family vacation in Las Vegas. The hotel looks stunning and has so many top-notch amenities that you could easily spend your whole vacation in the resort. However, the hotel’s prime location in the heart of Vegas is perfect for visiting the city’s attractions.
The elegant guest rooms and suites have super-comfortable Wynn Dream Beds, flatscreen TVs with premium cable, and minibars. Adjoining hotel rooms are available, but there’s no option to request cots or extra beds.

Kids will be enchanted by the hotel’s circus tent entrance, free circus acts, Midway games, and thrilling amusement park rides, including the only indoor double-loop, double-corkscrew roller coaster in the world.
The hotel’s entrance may be circus-themed, but you won’t be sleeping in a room full of clowns. The spacious rooms have pretty standard decor, and the amenities include flatscreen TVs, premium cable, and in-room safes. Family rooms and adjoining rooms are available, and fridges, cots, and extra beds can be provided for an additional fee.
The Circus Circus Splash Zone pool complex includes two pools, hot tubs, and a 50-foot water slide tower with three slides. You can also rent a cabana with lounge chairs, a TV, mini-fridge, and safe.
The hotel has five sit-down restaurants, including a steakhouse, pizzeria, and kid-friendly buffet restaurant. If you want to grab a quick bite, there are also several casual options.
Circus Circus Hotel lies at the north end of the Strip, so it could be the best Las Vegas hotel to pick if you prefer a quieter location. However, bear in mind that you’ll have at least a 10-minute drive to any of the main Vegas attractions.

New York-New York Hotel and Casino combines the best of Vegas with a taste of New York City. Kids will love the NYC-inspired features like the Manhattan Skyline, yellow taxi rollercoaster, and 150-foot replica Statue of Liberty.
The NYC style continues inside the rooms and suites, which have bold, industrial-style decor, stylish bathrooms, and all the amenities you’d expect. The rooms sleep up to four people, while cribs and roll-a-way beds are available for an additional fee.

Its location in the middle of the Strip gives easy access to all the city’s best casinos, restaurants, and attractions.
It’s also a family-friendly experience with plenty of amenities and services for younger guests. Books, video games, on-demand movies, and other in-suite entertainment are all available to guests at Trump Las Vegas. However, the heated outdoor swimming pool is more suited to relaxation and sipping cocktails than entertaining small children.
