Las Vegas has no shortage of glamorous brunch spots, and La Fontaine at Fontainebleau promises an iconic Las Vegas brunch. I went along to see if the restaurant is as flawless as its reputation, and my experience didn’t disappoint.

My husband and I experienced a luxurious stay at Fontainebleau Las Vegas as guests of the hotel. As part of our visit, we enjoyed brunch at La Fontaine, one of the hotel’s fine dining restaurants.

Read on to discover what I loved about La Fontaine, and why it makes my list of the best brunch spots in Las Vegas.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a luxury Las Vegas hotel that opened in 2023. It’s located at the north end of the Strip near the Las Vegas Convention Center and Resorts World.

The hotel features more than 3,600 luxurious rooms and suites, many with views of the Las Vegas Strip and the Sphere. It’s the only resort and casino to hold the prestigious One Key MICHELIN award, an honor presented to hotels that offer guests exceptional comfort and service.

Guests can enjoy the award-winning Lapis Spa, spend unforgettable evenings in the 3,800-seat theater or play a variety of table games in the 150,000-square-foot casino. In the holiday season, Fontainebleau Las Vegas hosts the Oasis Ice Rink, the largest on the Strip.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas also boasts over 30 restaurants, ranging from fine dining restaurants to casual dining options and a beautifully appointed private dining room.

Inside La Fontaine

La Fontaine has a timeless elegance and refined style that make it perfect for a luxury brunch or special occasion.

The decor features a soft pastel palette of rose and mauve against a background of neutral shades, which makes the restaurant feel very serene.

Stunning glass chandeliers light the spaces, and the little alcoves dotted around are perfect for easy conversation. The furniture’s soft lines and pretty accents like the blush-pink rose on our table add to the elegant styling.

The overall impression is old-world opulence: elegant and organic but not too feminine.

The Menu

La Fontaine offers a refined brunch experience centered around a menu designed by Executive Chef Laetitia Rouabah. She was trained by the world-famous chef Alain Ducasse, who holds a total of 21 Michelin stars in restaurants worldwide.

Now, Rouabah has brought fresh flavors of the French Riviera to the Las Vegas Strip. The French-inspired menu features brunch favorites elevated through the use of the highest-caliber ingredients and skilful techniques.

So, you’ll find a Lobster Eggs Benedict and other decadent brunch dishes like a half-dozen oysters, and a bagel tower presented with caviar and cream cheese. Of course, all the usual American breakfast favorites like eggs Benedict and omelettes are also on the menu.

There’s also a range of sandwiches, including a Maine Lobster Roll, and more substantial entrées like steak and eggs. There are also a few healthy options like egg-white omelette or pumpkin spice oatmeal.

You can also order from the prix fixe menu, which includes a choice of three appetizers, three entrees, and two desserts.

All of the food is beautifully presented on fine porcelain china, adding to the luxe experience.

And you can pair your brunch with freshly squeezed juices, specialty craft cocktails, or even an endless Champagne pairing. By the way, that’s not really endless – there’s a 90-minute time limit, so you can’t sip Champagne all day!

My La Fontaine experience

The La Fontaine American breakfast including eggs with hash browns and accompaniments, a portion of French toast, a large croissant, and a glass of green juice.
The American breakfast, with enough food for the whole table!

Although the prix-fixe menu looked excellent, my husband and I ordered our brunches from the à la carte menu.

I ordered the La Fontaine American breakfast, which included a massive amount of food.

First, you have three eggs cooked to your preference. These are served with delicious hash browns and a choice of sausage, bacon, or sliced avocado. You also get a portion of French toast, some toast or a pastry, and tea, coffee, or fresh fruit juice.

I opted for a cappuccino and a croissant, which was absolutely huge. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was about the size of my head!

My husband ordered the La Parisienne, an elevated cheese omelette sumptuously filled with smoked ham, Emmental cheese, and Parmesan sauce. It looked really appetizing, and my husband certainly enjoyed it.

We also ordered a side of sliced avocado to share, and I ordered a fresh green juice, which was delicious. It had just the right balance of tart and sweet, and felt very virtuous alongside my decadent American breakfast.

The brunch included an enormous amount of food, but it was all delicious.

The service at La Fontaine was also top-notch, and our waiter, Marcin, was excellent. He helped us navigate the menu with ease and handled my husband’s food allergies without any fuss. The whole experience was very smooth and professional.

Is brunch at La Fontaine worth it?

In total, our brunch would have cost us $112.97 including tax and tip. That’s a lot to pay for breakfast for two people, although the portion sizes were generous. It’s on par with other top tier brunch spots in Vegas, and the quality and ambience make it worth it.

Overall, I’d say that the quality of food was better at La Fontaine than at the Garden Table in the Bellagio Las Vegas, another great option for brunch in Vegas. On the other hand, I loved the unique experience at the Garden Table.

The Fontainebleau is a wonderful hotel, and I’d certainly consider it for future stays in Las Vegas. Despite its location at the very north end of the Strip, it is a gorgeous, luxurious hotel that blew me away. Trust me – it’s worth the taxi ride to wherever else you want to go.

If you’re staying at a hotel further south like the Four Seasons Las Vegas, you might like to combine brunch at the Fontainebleau with other activities within the hotel or in the surrounding area.

La Fontaine isn’t the sort of restaurant you’re going to roll into after an all-night party or make your regular Sunday brunch spot. However, it’s ideal for an elegant brunch, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion, and I highly recommend it.
